The Prescriber will be responsible for diagnosis, medical care needs, medication management and side effect monitoring, and acute management of suicidality and other safety concerns. Medication management will be guided by the Psychopharmacology Manual, which provides information about best prescribing practices for first episode patients. The Prescriber assesses symptoms, collaborates with patients and relatives regarding pharmacological treatment, and participates in treatment planning and NAVIGATE team meetings.
